		<description>If you open WinSCP for the first time after downloading, the default setting for the server response timeout is 15 seconds. The first time you connect, it takes longer (30-35 seconds), so you have to change the setting to more than 35 seconds in order for it to work (I set mine to 60 seconds, and it worked). 

To change the timeout setting, just do this:
In the WinSCP Login-window, click Advanced options in the bottom of the window, click Connection (lefthand side), change Server response timeout in the little box (righthand side) and you´re done.

Good luck, hope this might solve some problems for someone out there :-).

Oh, and no problem with the password here, &#039;alpine&#039; did the trick.</description>
