MxTube Background downloader fixed!

In the last status update the background downloader was communicating with MxTube but I hadn’t implemented the actual downloading. Turns out due to some NSRunLoop problems that I didn’t figure out until it was too late, NSURLDownload and NSURLConnection were not working. After having a friend (banana) suggest implementing libcurl, I coded it in but it was reporting all files to be 0kbs big :P. Thanks to tnt the problem has been solved! I plan to have MxTube 2.0 out for pwnd 2.0 phones within 5 days. It will be available on Cydia for download.

    Thanks for the status updates (this one, and all the rest) plus all the hard work you do, really is appreciated! The one app that I long for is finally coming this week, can’t wait.

    Cool, MxTube is the reason I jailbroke 1.1.4 in the first place. Its a great app that really adds functionality (especially iPod touch). Thanks soon I’ll be upgrading to 2.0!

    Thats great news!

    I think that mxtube and mobilescrobbler together is the most important apps for the iphone/ipod touch.

    You let us, the users, up to date with information of whats going on.
    The crew of mobilescrobbler doesn’t seem to care about there users and doesn’t answer our questions about a 2.0 version of the app.

    Thanks for this great app and great that you will bring it on Cydia. I don’t like the restrictions of App store

    Max, i noticed that TV-out doesn’t work anymore for MxTube. It doesn’t play the video’s anymore on the TV, while IPod Video works fine and YouTube as well. Any idea’s?

    To mxtube authors, any chance u can add background music playing on your next update. I know it was done on the previous versions. It was very handy. Thanks in advance

    my mxtube 1.5 keeps on crashing during loading it keeps going back to the home screen while it loading .. The videos I previous downloaded play fine .. Do u know what the problem is ?
